How you know if you are stuck in a time capsule or even a cave when it comes to Marketing..

In today’s age and times if you are not technology savvy or computer savvy you are going to be left behind in the crowd. Or as I like to say the 97% slip stream. This is no different in the MLM industry. If you are using the old school ways of marketing offline ie. 3 feet rule, hotel meetings, and home parties and you aren’t seeing the results you’d hoped… you need to let some light into your cave and use the internet to accelerate your business out of the dark ages.

Ok we were told to build a list and check it twice.Don’t you think that sounds a bit like a fairy tale that comes around once a year with a jolly old man in a red suit. I felt that every One on One or Hotel Overview was like Xmas day and I would build up my prospects as if they were presents and when there was no presents under the tree I would ride the rollercoaster of emotions.

Luckily we are quick learners and I realised that you didn’t need to wait once a year for your presents to come. There was actually another way to this Industry to get into the profit land with upfront cash flow and a good level of presents (prospects) coming to me instead of me searching for them.

Let's take for instance Facebook, ahhhhh the wonderful world of Facebook. Here is a free tool, did you catch that I said free? This site is great for creating yourself a diverse pond to fish in. I'm sure we are all familiar with the term fishing poles. You want as many as you can out there to catch as many fish (prospects) as possible.

So let's do the comparison to fishing offline and fishing online with Facebook. If traditional ways of Network Marketing are working for you then that is awesome, but if you… like many others… are struggling, you want to listen up.

OFFLINE- You are out and about doing your 3 feet rule and in one day you might talk to 10 people. This is taking into consideration you are really good at this and you have the personality to do it. So you reached out to 10 people, all of them strangers that you know nothing about, so they could be a stud or a dud.

ONLINE(facebook)- In 10 minutes you could of talked to and struck up an initial relationship with at least 10 people. Not only did you do it in a fraction of the time you also made sure they were in your target market. If you are stuck in your cave when it comes to marketing the term target market might be new to you.

Let's look as this is in better light shall we? When you are prospecting offline you have no idea who you are talking to and what their goals are. You ask them a few general questions "Do you keep your career options open?" "Are you interested in a 6 figure residual income?" this does not qualify them as your target market. This industry is built on marketing and promoting and you are asking people that may have no experience in either to help you build your business.

Shift your thinking to online. You have positioned yourself in a pond with like minded individuals who are seeking the same common goal or opportunity as you are. Immediately you are speaking with prospects who have some sort of prior education or experience in the field.

I chose to use Facebook in this comparison because it is a huge free marketing tool ranked in the top 5 of free social media sites. Layla and I consistently generate 10 to 15 targeted leads daily just from Facebook alone. Now think, Facebook is just one of the 5 free social networking sites that we are using. If you could be bringing in 50+ new people to talk to every day, do you think you'd be in a somewhat different situation now?

Why the 97% stay broke while riding the "start up band wagon"

What the Start Up Companies Don't Want You To Know.

We have all seen the buzzzzzz about the newest companies and their AMAZING Prelaunch opportunities. The common misconception is that ONLY the people that got in at the beginning of Amway are making money right now.

Sure, if we were the first Distributors for Amway we'd be doing pretty good right now. But think of all the millionaires that the company has that were not there 50 years ago. The great thing about the Network Marketing business is it doesn't matter where you fall, everyone has the same product and the same opportunity...

The difference is YOU.

Residual Income is another one we hear thrown around. Build an organization that you can walk away from and still earn a PASSIVE RESIDUAL INCOME.

Well, with 9 out of 10 Start-Up companies never being seen again after their HUGE Prelaunches.... is this really possible?

I have seen many friends put 110% of their efforts into a prelaunch... bring everyone they know into it, and have it crumble under their feet within a year. What is even worse, is when they DO build a residual income and suddenly the compensation plan is changed and their goes their downline and their profits

So what's the answer?

Be weary of the latest and greatest start-up companies...

Do your research... find a company that is OLD enough so you know they are not going anywhere... but NEW enough so that it still is cutting edge.

Don't jump on the Prelaunch Bandwagon! Work on marketing your EXISTING business properly, because the problem is not the company or the comp plan.... it's all you.You have to learn to stand out in the crowd of thousands, how do I do that you say?

If you knew that 9 out of 10 planes would crash [the planes being every start-up prelaunched MLM company out there] would you rush on board and bring your family and friends with you?
